We're all working from home during this lockdown, not just to bring you your favourite gardening mag, but also our Garden Diary 2022! This is where we need your help: Show us how you've been using your 2021 Diary -- take photos of the pages, tell us what was most useful, did you have enough space to write your notes, what have you scribbled on the pages? Did you clip your plant labels on them? Perhaps shoot a little video with your phone as you turn the pages. Your feedback will help us put together next year's diary.
Please email your comments and photos to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, by this Friday, Aug 27. The five most helpful readers will each receive a free copy of the 2022 diary.

The reason for escalating violence and crime in Hamilton is closed community police outlets and a shortage of frontline police officers. I understand as per notification received that a second Community Safety meeting had been organized at 7.00 pm on Tuesday 17th August 2021 at Endeavour School, 86 Endeavour Avenue, Flagstaff, Hamilton.

We are looking for an energetic team member who enjoys helping people. You will be helping maintain the libraries print Heritage Collections, which includes books, serials, newspapers and maps. You will be helping maintain the libraries print Heritage Collections, which includes books, serials, newspapers and maps. The role involves selection and deselection of the book collection, as well as assisting customers with their enquiries.
You will need to have a library qualification (or equivalent) or be working towards one. Experience in researching whakapapa and a knowledge of tikanga would be an advantage.
This is a full time (37.5 hours per week) role that is worked across Sunday to Thursday. You will also be required to work rostered evenings and public holiday weekends.
