Funding delay forces Canterbury council to ditch dangerous road upgrades
Three major Selwyn roading projects are being scrapped because of a lack of government funding, triggering fears delays to safety upgrades could put lives at risk.
- $9.6m of safety upgrades at the intersections of Blakes and Shands roads and Springs and Marshs roads in Prebbleton.
- A $1m upgrade and widening of Weedons Ross Rd at Rolleston.
- The $400,000 Rolleston to Templeton cycleway.
