Following Jacinda's latest announcement today recommending that over-70s self-isolate, the Club will temporarily close its doors in the meantime in order to protect our most vulnerable members. We look forward to getting back up and running again when the current situation is over.

Perhaps you’re teaching yourself to code, or maybe you’ve enrolled in an evening class or online course to help your employment prospects. It might have been something you did with your employer’s blessing, or maybe you’ve struck out on your own.
Maybe you’ve struggled to find work and did it as a way to get back on the career ladder, or perhaps you’re concerned about the pace of change in your field and want to stay ahead.
Whatever your brand of lifelong learning, we want to hear from you - email josephine.franks@stuff.co.nz

Barrel price dropped, PM requested a price drop, South Island petrol prices dropped $1.84.
However, due to North Island lower supply and lower population are being penalized at nearly $0.30/liter for several days. 10 days ago the price was $1.99/liter in both islands. Why the increase? Why the panic from greedy petroleum corporates? Government regulations should review their $0.70/liter taxes and greedy corporates should review their $1.40/liter charges.
CEO's salaries generally have seen 514% wage increase since 1990. Average empolyee wage increase since 1990 seen 147.869% or an average of 3.624% annually over 30 years.
$31.13 to $33.93/barrel that's 159 liters/barrel. We might be forced to pay high prices. We know where our loyalties are.
Multigenerational petrol investor since WW1. NZ has a self imposed petrol shortage based on corporate calculated greed. Prices increase and decrease in 12 hours or less depending on how busy the station is. The real truth to decades of exploiting the consumer over oil family feuds.

“If I hear music, I just want to dance – body seems to just move!” says dancer Audrey, 84. Poet Brian, 86, says “Poetry helps me to question and understand the meaning of life”, followed by a witty “– haven’t worked out what it means yet”.
As their residents blaze their own trails, Ryman matches that pioneering spirit. “Ryman villages offer living choices to suit everyone so that you can live the way you want.”
