Urgent"" This beautiful middle age, blue eyed gentleman, jus slipped out of his temporary care in Kauri st address yesterday.. 22nd June.Had just been desexed vet/checked /microchipped, with support from ManawatuAlleyCats he was ready to go to his new home. Please keep a look out for him He is use to living it rough outdoors ,so didnt take kindly to be held in too long. ,Friendly boy'....will hiss if you approach him but all bravado and no bite..His rescuer had named him Sidney ánd will be easily coached with food specially pieces of raw meat. please get in touch with Ruth on 0220261504 or Jenny 0211616396

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
