The lengthening lines outside Fergburger might suggest otherwise, but New Zealand’s tourism sector is still in fight-for-survival mode.

The hardest hit regions of Fiordland, the West Coast, Queenstown and Dunedin – where spend was down 22 per cent, 20 per cent, 18 per cent and 17 per cent respectively (according to MBIE data) – are also among our most beautiful.

The problem is not that no-one wants to visit them, but that they relied heavily on overseas visitors or tourism in general before the Covid-19 pandemic struck. Even with the domestic tourists they’ve welcomed since the nationwide lockdown ended, they’re still in dire straits.

Pay them a visit on your next break and you’ll be doing them a favour they’ll repay you for many times over in terms of the adventures they offer. Of course it helps that they are all offering some pretty exceptional deals.

🟠Do you have a burning desire to change your personal & financial situation?🟠
🟠Would you like a self-regulated lifestyle?🟠
🟠Take control of your hours, your income and your life🟠

🟠 We need Leadership & Success Development Officers to get started as soon as possible (part or full time) to keep up with ever increasing global demand for our Personal Development Courses (online & live).

🟠 We are a global leadership development company enjoying continued growth and success over the last 15 years and throughout 2020.

🟠 Our courses have been developed by company co-founder, a practical guy who loves fast cars and began his work life as a car stereo installer. Disillusionment over low pay, long hours and negative work culture led him to take a risk on an online business over 20 years ago. Today he is a multi-millionaire entrepreneur who loves to share his knowledge with other ordinary people like himself looking to create the life they truly deserve and desire.

🟠 This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. This opportunity works if you do. You must be coachable and follow leadership’s proven method for success.

🟠 The compensation plan is uniquely generous positioning officers for real wealth accumulation.

🟠 This is NOT multi-level marketing. Only one 80% commission is paid per sale and that is to YOU with 20% going to corporate for overheads.

🟠 Officers receive full and ongoing training and support. Develop yourself & others.

"If nothing changes...nothing changes" So what are you waiting for?

No students or those without work visas. Must speak English. To apply visit www.DreamBigNewZealand.co.nz... & fill in our form to be contacted for a 5 minute phone interview to see if we have a mutual fit.

In the lead up to the 2020 election, Stuff is keeping voters up to date with what’s happening in their electorate, through Neighbourly. Here’s what you need to know about the candidates in the running to be Dunedin's MP.

At the October 17 election, New Zealanders will have the opportunity to choose their regional spokesperson.

Through the Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) voting system, those enrolled can vote for the party they want as well as a local representative.

Why does my MP matter?

The person elected will be the voice for your region in Parliament. If you’re having trouble getting entitlements or dealing with Government departments, they can help. If your community needs funding for certain projects or activities, or there isn’t enough healthcare in the area, the elected MP can step in and help.
