Dunedin rolls out $150,000 welcome mat for tens of thousands of visitors
Concerts by Elton John, Queen, two Highlanders matches, 31 cruise ship visits, and the city hosting the Masters Games has prompted the council to transform the Octagon and surrounding city streets.
That includes temporarily closing the Octagon, similar to the trial during the Ed Sheeran concerts in Easter 2018.
