Dunedin fishermen capture 'euphoric moment' as whale breaches near boat
Two Dunedin fishermen have captured the “euphoric” moment as a whale breaches out of the water just metres from their boat.
Real estate agent Chris Taylor had taken the day off work to fish with a friend near Cape Saunders off the coast of Dunedin on Friday.
Taylor said he had just reeled in a tuna when he witnessed what appeared to be a large humpback whale breach out of the water.
