of Lower Hutt. Passed away peacefully in her own home on Monday 17th April 2023, aged 87. Beloved wife of the late Eric Plaistow, and much loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Eileen and Mark, Erica and Joska. Cherished Nana of Rebecca, Sarah, Sean and Izzie, Ryan and Laura, Hannah and Ben along with all her much loved great-grandchildren Connor, Jackson, Nico, Chantelle, Hector, Tavish, Ella and Ivie. A service for Eileen will be held in Cornwall Manor, cnr of Knights Rd & Cornwall St, Lower Hutt, on Friday 5th May at 2.30pm, followed by cremation.

After a long struggle, Kevin is now at peace. On Monday 17th April 2023 at Elizabeth R Rest Home, Stratford. Loved son of the late Wilfred and Edna Wan (Kaupokonui). On Wednesday 12 April 2023 passed away at the age of 87. Dearly loved and wonderfully supportive husband of Mignon, much loved father of Michael, Jacqui and Donna, and loved grandfather of Caitlin, Emma, Marcus, Callum and Max. Loved wife of the late Dennis Butler (PNth), sister of Nico Bezuidenhout & the late Stephanie Mostert (South Africa). Dear sister-in-law of Pam and the late Tony Butler & families (South Island, NZ) and Ouma to her five grandchildren; Daile, Stefan, Lewis, Blake, and Daniel. After retiring from PN Public Hospital, Registered Nurse, Infection Control (2IC), May moved into her villa at Summerset Retirement Village in 2004, where you are invited to share your memories of our mother, on 1st May, for morning tea at 10.30am, Recreation Centre, 180 Ruapehu Drive, Summerset Village, Palmerston North. Our loving Paddy passed away peacefully on April 16, 2023, in his 93rd year. Dearly loved husband of Lorraine, kind and loving Dad to Toni and Jeff, Russell and Kaz. An exceptional Grandad to Andy and Vicky, Sean and Ashley, and Nisha, and a special Great-Grandad to Tytan. A private cremation has taken place. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at a later date. Special thanks to all the Staff at Bainswood on Victoria for the care and love given to Pat. He was always so grateful.

Born Timaru, March 10, 1939. Son of Donald Ralph Munro (Reg. No. 485214, 6th Canterbury Regiment) late of Pareora, and Mona Margaret Munro (née Cotterell) born Fairlie. Athol passed away at home in Howick, Auckland, on April 18, 2023, aged 84 years. He is survived by Glenn of Napier, Guy of Maramarua, and Meredith of Napier. Grandfather to Adam, Logan, Mia, Laura, Haley and Kyle. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 6 Beatrice Road, Remuera, Auckland, on Saturday, April 29 at 11.00am. Rosary at the above Church on Friday, April 28 at 7.30pm.
