Passed away peacefully at home, aged 56 years. Dearly loved partner of Glenn. Beloved son of the late Dick and Shirley Austin. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Sue and Charlie Cockrell, a fun uncle to Brad, Emma and Leigh, and cherished by his extended family. Respected by his special friend Paul Perrone. Also, by his mates in Nelson, Wellington and Rotorua, they will know who they are. Adored by his fur babies Tula, Bowie and Bodie. It is with sadness we announce the passing of our dear mum, grandma, and great-gran Jane, on the 14 May 2023, Mothers Day, at Gracelands Hastings, aged 98 years. Loved wife of the late Reg. Mum to Kevin and Kaye (dec), Pauline Honore, Ashley and Annette, Bryce and Sue. Grandma to Stuart and Lisa, Calvin, Vicki, Matthew, Josiah, Heath, Tahlia, Jabin, Chanelle, Rachelle. Passed away peacefully at Springlands Lifestyle Village, Blenheim, on Monday, May 15, 2023 with family by her side. Aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Salil Roy Chowdhury. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of David and Naomi (Wellington), Joya and Paul (Nelson), Melinda (Mindy) and Steve (Tetley Brook). Trish was John Pearce’s beloved wife of 63 years, and the beloved mother of Stephen and Karen and the late Janice, Deb and Rob, Diane and Paul, Michael and Doan Hahn, Darryl and Leanne Winsloe and the late Leanne Miles, and Natasha. A loving and devoted grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of 37. Trish had a life full of love and light, and will be greatly missed. Many thanks to the staff at Tararu Rest Home for their loving care of Maria. Rosary will be recited at St Paschal’s Catholic Church, 56 Pipiroa Road, Ngatea, on Wednesday 17th May at 7.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at
St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 111 Baillie Street, Thames, on Thursday 18th May at 11.00am, followed by interment at Totara Memorial Park, Thames.
