Bridge closed this Sunday 3 December
The Te Matau a Pohe bridge will be closed to road traffic and pedestrian traffic this Sunday to complete the bridge maintenance work.
From Sunday 3 December 8am to Monday 4 December 6am – Full road and footpath closure.
There will be no pedestrian or road traffic access across the bridge. Dave Culham Drive will be closed at the Port Road and Riverside Drive roundabouts.
Openings for marine traffic will be available during this period, but there may be delays of up to 15 minutes for bridge lifts while workmen and equipment are cleared of the bridge.
