Do you agree that Whangamatā is a foodie hub?

After a blow to Coromandel tourism in 2023 with road closures, floods and cyclones, some in Whangamatā found it the perfect time to open a business.

Craft beers, chocolate and Spanish cuisine have joined the likes of established eateries Smash Pipi and Blackies Cafe.

So is Whangamatā becoming the next best foodie haven?
