Hey Aotearoa,

Summer's here, and that means the streets are buzzing. Summer means more eyes on the streets, and more eyes on Street Media.

You've probably seen our bold frames around Aotearoa – 40 years deep in bringing life to the concrete jungle. We've rolled with the big names in NZ, but our roots are solid.

Arts, culture, and community run through our veins. In 2022, we nailed being the first Carbon Net Zero Out of Home advertiser, we're proud of that.

NZ brands, if you want your message out there, or if you own a spot itching for our frames (and some extra cash), we're game. Let's team up this summer.

This is not a good trend and 'at risk' people should really take all the care they can.
It might be said that as less people are dying, it might be spreading amongst younger people who are better equiped to cope with it.
Stay safe people.

Interesting article today
A doctor who refused to get the Covid-19 vaccine because of a “religious and spiritual objection” issued medical certificates to some patients, stating the vaccine would be unsuitable for them, despite no sufficient evidence backing this up.
We wonder why it lasted so long and people were forced to lockdown longer than neccessary.

Downsize to a Richer, Happier Life

Woodcote Retirement Village

What do you want to do with your life? Would you like to travel, downsize, have more money and more free time? Do you ever feel like your stuff holds you back, but the thought of decluttering just seems too hard? If so, you’re not alone.

What do you want to do with your life? Would you like to travel, downsize, have more money and more free time? Do you ever feel like your stuff holds you back, but the thought of decluttering just seems too hard? If so, you’re not alone.

This is the first of a series of articles dedicated to helping you to downsize, declutter and rightsize your life, brought to you by Ryman Healthcare in conjunction with decluttering expert Peter Walsh.

When helping people to declutter, Peter never starts by focusing on the stuff itself. Every item in your home has a story, so the first step is to think about what that story is.

Maybe you’re thinking about downsizing as you approach retirement but still have all the artwork and toys and books that belonged to your now adult children, and don’t know what to do with them. Perhaps letting go of that old sports equipment means letting go of a vision you had of yourself that no longer fits who you are. Maybe you’re holding onto heirlooms you have no use for because you want to keep the memory of the person alive.

No matter what your situation is, it’s easier to declutter and downsize if you start by identifying the feelings that underlie your attachment to your stuff before tackling the stuff itself.

With more than 100 crashes at a busy Christchurch hub over the last 10 years, a raft of safety improvements have been planned for the area.

Church Corner in Upper Riccarton is home to schools, bus stops, the Bush Inn Centre, a supermarket and Christchurch’s so-called ‘China Town Market’ - all located where main roads intersect.

Christchurch City Council released its report with artist’s impressions (see below) of plans to make the area safer for commuters and pedestrians.

The proposals - which are open for public consultation, include vehicle access from Main South Rd onto Riccarton Rd being removed entirely as the road becomes one westbound lane.

Read the full story by reporter Tatiana Gibbs here (subscription required) or find out more on the Christchurch City Council's website.
