Fundraising Concert
Reminder that there is a Fundraising Concert on Sunday 27th November, 4.30pm, at Cashmere Presbyterian Church, 2 Macmillan Avenue.
Entry by Koha.
Funds raised go to the Advivia Zimbabwe project, who are establishing a vocational training centre to enable people to acquire practical skills and thus the means of later earning a living, during and after school.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
