Akaroa's The Little Bistro owner Richard Uttley has no regrets over banning children under 10.
He's actually had the policy for nearly three years, but it was only noticed in a big way at the weekend when a woman complained about being turned away.

Yes, she is a 1998 car, but with only 151,000km, serviced regularly (one due now) and water pump (new in 2015) and cam belt still ok...it makes it an great choice to buy...especially with the new WOF (with paperwork) and 6-months Rego.
Being a with a low cc engine; it makes it a perfect car to learn to drive in...or if anyone just wants an economical car that you can park in all those parks that massive sedans and 4-Wheel Drives can't fit into!
With lockable roof racks, it makes putting on a kayak, snowboard, bike...even moving a bed, so much easier :-)
With sadness I need to sell her, as I need the money for a medical procedure.
I have a plan to start biking again too.
Price: $2,700

Plans to use a mostly-empty parking building in central Christchurch as the base for a hospital shuttle are being seriously considered.
Do you think the Lichfield St car park building should be used for the hospital park and ride?

Free. Outdated tech so may not work depending on whether you have anything compatible to connect it to. The light on the camera lights up when plugged in so if you manage to find something to connect to it could be something for your kids to play with? :)

With the demolition of the stands at Lancaster Park there has been a noticeable or not-so-noticeable activity going on.That lovely green fence put up around the park doesn't actually keep people out, it just provides cover for those getting into the park as they cannot be seen from the road. So if you are in Lismore St during the weekend you may see the culprits cars parked along the wire fence. Perhaps getting a rego number would be a good idea and pass it to the Council
