I come across numerous old hot water cylinders that are passing all that precious hot water.
This is generally down to the age of the fittings.
A lot of plumbers will tell you it’s a new cylinder change which is very unfair on the customer.

A simple fitting being replaced can rectify this.

So I see that the City Council has paid for a $1.2 Million touch wall for the new library. shouldn't they have spent that on fixing the roads and all the pot holes, and I guess rate payers have paid for this too.

Thinking of hiring a local contractor to do some renovations on your house? A good rule of thumb is to obtain more than one quote, particularly if you are investing a large sum of money.
- Do you know the difference between a quote or an estimate?
- Will you need to hire multiple contractors?

There can be big differences in the prices – make sure you ask why. If you want a good result, the more you think about upfront the better. Follow our checklists, information, and tools to help you through the process.

- extending the planting season significantly as the beds will warm faster and hold the warmth
- allowing better drainage
- as the gardener doesn’t walk on the garden bed, the soil doesn’t become compacted
- the soil will remain light and loose allowing it to hold more air helping the vegetable roots to grow with less effort
- ability to reduce the number of weeds
- if using close plant spacing your raised vegetable garden bed will create a micro-climate which will contain moisture and further discourage weeds.
Fill with compost, mulch, good soil and fertilzer mix.
If you are looking for a raised garden bed or planter box see Out of the Woods Woodshop here on Neighbourly.

(CDHB YAC or YAC) The CDHB YAC is the only council within NZ that has youth focusing on youth only in the medical sector. We cover from Ashburton to the West Coast. Everybody on the YAC has had their own experiences in hospital with different medical conditions. Mine being that I've had cancer and have had a lot of after affects going on.
