Poll: What do you think the Marshland Rd speed limit should be?
A North Canterbury commuter says common sense is behind his push to reinstate a 70kmh speed limit on one of the main routes into Christchurch.
Grant Harris is one of the regular users of Marshland Rd who has contacted Waimakariri MP Matt Doocey after the Christchurch City Council reduced the limit to 60kmh.
Doocey said he had been approached by many residents who were unhappy after the speed limit between Chaneys Corner and Prestons Rd was reduced in November.
