Hi neighbours! We're back to normal this week, gathering at 10.30am. Mike Robb will be starting a new series on 'Enemies of the Heart'. This series is about breaking free from the destructive power of guilt, anger, greed and jealousy. As always, the coffee will be hot at 10.15am! Hope you can join us!
This past week, Eugene Peterson died at the age of 85yrs. You may know Eugene Peterson as the translator of the Message Bible. Only God knows the time a person is born & the time that a person will die, the certainty that we live with is that every day is a gift from God. I watched a fascinating interview between Bono (U2) & Eugene Peterson on the honesty of the Psalms & the challenge to live our lives in transparency before God. How much does it cost to join AEA?
There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
