We cover using beef mince, chicken, eggs and include some miscellaneous dishes such as macaroni cheese and soup. Must register - contact Raewyn 03 375 0850 / 027 629 6668. At Northcity Church Building, 95a Sawyers Arms Rd, Papanui. $7.00 per session -take some food home as well. Two tutors. You do the cooking - hands-on. Fun and friendly environment.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
