Christchurch community boards ask council to consider delaying new motorway
Calls are being made to delay the opening of a controversial Christchurch motorway.
Two community boards have recommended not opening the new motorway section between QEII Dr and Cranford St, which is owned and maintained by the city council, until traffic reduction measures for the entire road are in place. It is due to open in mid-2020.
