CAB at The Loft – Tuesday, 25 July

The Team from Citizens Advice Christchurch Area

Our team is at the Loft (upstairs in Eastgate Mall) every Tuesday, from 11am- 2pm, to help you. If you have an issue and you need help, just pop on in, you don't need an appointment. They will usually be sat in the Library next to our big yellow flag.

The Loft also gives access to a wide range of Health and Social services. Organisations such as Community Law and Kingdom Resources are there at different times during the week. Check under the 'Read More' for a link to give you more information about times and whether you need an appointment.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
