Poll: TRAFFIC LIGHT ISSUE AT MARY ST & MAIN NORTH ROAD

Julia from Papanui

Hi is anyone else having issues regarding the new traffic light system at this intersection. The right turning arrow from Mary Street into the Main North Road has been removed and will no longer work. It is expected by the CCC that all people wishing to turn right will be able to do this easily. From my experience with the right hand arrow working it is sometimes impossible to turn right . I am unsure why the CCC roading engineers have removed this. I have been on to the CCC and with help from Ali Jones, East Papanui community board am trying to find out why.
It would be great to know if anyone else has concerns with this and could join me in lobbying the CCC to have the light reinstated.
If you do can you please let me know.
