Help Needed

Philippa from Casebrook

Hello Neighbours, I am hoping you or someone you know may be able to help .

My eldest daughter Willow (12) marches in the Pioneers of Canterbury Under 16 Marching team and I am a chaperone for the team.

We are exactly one month away from our NZ championships in Hamilton and unfortunately after many a fundraiser we are still short on our financial requirements to attend the event.

We are approaching local/small businesses who might be interested in making a contribution to our team in the form of sponsorship, either for an individual marcher or to the team.

In return we can promote the business in our newsletter, on our Facebook page and at prizegivings and for larger team sponsorships we can put the business logo on our team gear which is taken to every training and competition both local (every Saturday at Nunweek Park) and Nationally for South Island Champs and National Champs.

I have attached some information for you in the form of a letter from our coach Amanda and a couple of photos of the team in action.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask or email me - philippahardaker@yahoo.co.nz.

Thank you :)

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? 🛻🚨🚓

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?

Addictive Eaters Anonymous

The Team from Addictive Eaters Anonymous - Christchurch

How much does it cost to join AEA?

There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
