Long term rental needed. A++ References
A wonderful hard working Mum I work with has just been told the house she thought she’d be renting for the rest of her life has been sold & will be changing ownership in a few days!! This came as a huge shock as the landlord had told her the house was his retirement fund (he’s a long way off retirement) anyway if anyone knows of a 3 bedroom or even 2 bedroom home for long term rental please please contact me. If possible a home on the east side for anything under $450 would be great but anything will be considered. This woman is the perfect tenant, she always pays her rent, has amazing rental references as well as character references from some amazing people & places. Her son is quite unwell so this is an urgent need. Any help or even advice would be appreciated. If you can help I will put you in contact with her. DOC is rolling out a new tool to help figure out what to tackle first when it comes to protecting our threatened species and the things putting them at risk.
Why does this matter? As Nikki Macdonald from The Post points out, we’re a country with around 4,400 threatened species. With limited time and funding, conservation has always meant making tough calls about what gets attention first.
For the first time, DOC has put real numbers around what it would take to do everything needed to properly safeguard our unique natural environment. The new BioInvest tool shows the scale of the challenge: 310,177 actions across 28,007 sites.
Now that we can see the full picture, it brings the big question into focus: how much do we, as Kiwis, truly value protecting nature — and what are we prepared to invest to make it happen?
