Candidate For Coastal Community Board
Standing for Waitai - Coastal Community Board 2019
This is Me.
The Brighton Beaches have been my home for 50 years. First in North Beach and now in South Brighton, after a time spent in OZ, I returned to the place I love. My place and your place deserves to be loved and I am determined for it to get a lot more.
And like all residents here, I have a vision, a vision for the future, and I want to ensure the momentum started is continued without compromise.
I bring a stable presence, am socially active within our community, am and have been on the committee of local groups, and have been a part of every consultation session we have ever had with Council. To repair what has been damaged, to ensure sustainability as Coastal suburbs, to future proof our existence and our legacies, to see economic growth and success, to gain the wisdom for our needs in the future,…….all this can only be done with the support of the community – but I will be here to help us get there.
I want to concentrate on what is best for the future of our coastal suburbs and it’s business and residential inhabitants.
Feel free to reach out to me if you would like to discuss anything that matters to you about your region and your city.
Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? 🛻🚨🚓
In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?
What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
-
40.7% The sting of a fine (Money talks!)
-
59.3% The threat of demerit points (Nobody wants to lose their license!)

How much does it cost to join AEA?
There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
