Canterbury measles count reaches seven as two new cases confirmed
A further two people in Canterbury have contracted measles, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to seven.
A woman in her 40s and a 13-month old toddler from Christchurch were diagnosed with the disease, Canterbury medical officer of health Dr Ramon Pink said on Monday. Read more

Last year, the Government declined to provide further funding beyond $25 million, and the church, who had raised $24m in donations and contributed $49m including insurance, said further public support will be required to find the revenue required.
