'Thank you for everything': Community bids farewell to beloved supermarket stalwart
Part counsellor, part comedian and part friend, Angela Crosbie has been a steady ship on some of Christchurch's darkest days.
So when a social media post declared Angela, the “lovely lady” from New World Bishopdale, has her last day at the Christchurch supermarket on Friday, an outpouring of sadness and gratitude followed.
“Oh no,” one woman responded. “She will be sorely missed,” another said, “I must buy her a block of chocolate to say a hearty thanks for being the absolute salt of the earth.”
