Get Set Go workshop for event and programme organisers

Hi all,
I thought this would be of interest to anyone organising community events and programmes. :-)


Get Set Go! is a workshop to help you design a programme or event that suits your community. It is an essential course for organisers of community recreation programmes and events.

Date and Time: Friday 3rd August 2018, from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
Location: Boardroom at Fendalton Library (corner of Jefferies and Clyde Road, Fendalton).
Cost: $35 per person for voluntary or not-for-profit organisations, or $55 for Government or private agencies.

Get Set Go Training. Learn about:

Designing programmes to suit your community;
Getting the right venue, equipment and accessibility;
Risk management;
Managing volunteers; and
Effective evaluations.

Following on from Get Set Go! is the Spread the Word Workshop to be held on: Friday 27 July 9.30am to 2.30pm, Linwood Service Centre Boardroom, Cnr Smith Street and Linwood Avenue

Our costs include the course and take–home resources:

$35 per person for non-profit/ voluntary organisation
$55 per person for government / private agencies
Group discounts may apply, please contact us for more information.
Space is limited to 15 people per session, so be in quick. If your group (minimum 8 people) would like us to run a tailored session at a time that suits you, then contact us on the details below.

These two workshops and guides have been designed to help you get your programme or event off to a great start. Spread the Word is the follow-on workshop to Get Set Go, however you don't have to do both workshops.
