It's a very built up corner with recent flats added to 21 Packe St. Screaming metal music at all hours and bad amplified practising has driven each neighbour to 'amp up'. I'm in touch with council and will be with property owners but any Neighbourly assistance appreciated.

The great kiwi deck, every home should have one. But there's a decking debate raging in DIY and Reno circles: Should the grooves go up or down?
We think we've settled the argument here.

Under level one restrictions, residents at odd-numbered addresses can use their hoses, sprinklers, and garden irrigation systems before 3pm or after 9pm on odd dates, with residents at even-numbered addresses doing so on even dates.
“Watering gardens and lawns using irrigation systems, hoses and sprinklers is the real challenge - washing the car using a bucket, using a watering can in the garden, or filling a small paddling pool, on any day, is fine under level one restrictions," head of three waters Helen Beaumont says.
Level two water restrictions were introduced last month in Akaroa, Duvauchelle and Takamatua on Banks Peninsula, as the streams that supply drinking water to those towns had been especially low.

But now she is devastated that the council could destroy her refuge – and says she is happy she won’t be around to see it chopped back.
McKenzie, who is terminally ill, has planted numerous trees around the 24-unit St Albans complex over the years, and residents now regularly see fantails, bellbirds and wood pigeons in their garden.
But last week, the property’s 24 tenants received a letter from Christchurch City Council telling them it was starting work imminently to remove some trees and heavily prune others.
What do you think should happen to McKenzie's "eco-sanctuary"?

A tour will give you first-hand experience of our village communities and the exceptional care we provide. Care options include the extra support of a serviced apartment, resthome, hospital and specialist dementia care.

It has especially broken our heart seeing a young pup going missing from a dairy but with great community spirit, security footage of offender and the power of social media we see he is now at home in his rightful place.
More and more we have seen great footage of offenders shared online and also warnings to others.
Its is good reminder to everyone to always lock doors and windows, have good security lighting around your whole house, get to know your neighbors and contemplate security cameras.
While security cameras can be a slightly expensive option we can't recommend it enough if you have puppies, or tools stored in vehicles, or lots of packages coming and going like we do. We love having the added security of our whole business and property monitored even while we put our feet up for a weeks camping in Hanmer springs recently.
Feel free to contact us to talk about security cameras, outside lighting or any other electrical needs.
