Obviously what's being done isn't sufficient as the place stinks again today. Considering the times I've responded to Smell It and my e-mail given frequently I wasn't even notified of the meeting. This wouldn't be allowed to happen in the more "affluent" areas of ChCh!

I am passionate about crochet and I have made this part of my business. One on one lesson for 1.5 hours for $25. You need to provide the materials I will provide the pattern an eco dish cloth. If you would like me to provide the materials the cost will be $40. 10am classes and 7pm evening class. If there is more interest I will start classes. Want to keep them small.

The Christchurch City Council has closed Cashel and Lichfield streets between Madras and Barbadoes streets so lights, power and internet cables, and underground service pipes can be removed or rerouted before early work on the city's long-awaited $473 million multi-use arena begins.
The … View moreThe Christchurch City Council has closed Cashel and Lichfield streets between Madras and Barbadoes streets so lights, power and internet cables, and underground service pipes can be removed or rerouted before early work on the city's long-awaited $473 million multi-use arena begins.
The right-hand lanes of Barbadoes and Madras streets have also been closed temporarily, between Tuam and Hereford streets, with no word yet on when they will reopen.
Council vertical capital delivery manager Alistair Pearson said drivers regularly using Cashel and Lichfield streets will need to travel down either Tuam or Hereford streets, and those closed stretches were unlikely to ever reopen. Read more here.

Buses on Christchurch's Airport to Sumner route (the Purple Line) will run every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 15 minutes on weekends from November 29.
The change comes as Environment Canterbury (ECan) works to provide more buses more often as part of the Regional Public Transport Plan.

The change comes as Environment Canterbury (ECan) works to provide more buses more often as part of the Regional Public Transport Plan.
Buses will run every 10 minutes on the Purple Line from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday.
The current 15-minute frequency will continue on Saturdays, and the Sunday timetable will be changed to match. These timings will operate for most of the day except for early mornings and late evenings.

Bevis, a resident at Ryman’s Anthony Wilding Village, recently received a gentleman’s makeover. The day began at the barbershop where Bevis and his barber Kohl shared plenty of laughs. Next up, a personal stylist helped Bevis select clothes he looked and felt great in. Being pampered isn’t the norm for Bevis but based on his smile, we’re confident he loved every minute.
