Cancer Society - Kaiapoi Drop In Clinic

Weekly Thursday mornings, 10am - 1pm @ Kaiapoi Library, Korotuaheke Room (Meeting Room 3).

The Kaiapoi Drop-in Clinic is for anyone in a family going through a cancer diagnosis to drop in and talk to one of our Cancer Navigators. Our Cancer Navigators provide support in the following ways:
🟡Emotional and practical support to patients, families and whanau experiencing any cancer.
🟡One to one, groups and online support.
🟡Personalised care planning to support rehabilitation and recovery
🟡Access to counselling, physiotherapy, nutrition & oncology massage therapy
🟡Comfort items such as turbans, wigs & temporary prothesis.
🟡Driving Service for transport to treatment.
🟡Help to access MOH subsidies/home help/palliative care.
🟡Liaison with CDHB, primary health, social work and community services.
🟡Home visits, phone or online support.
🟡Digital and print resources available.

Have you seen Rowena?

The Team from Canterbury Police

Police are urgently appealing for sightings of Rowena, 39, reported missing from Christchurch.

She was reported missing to Police on 22 October 2025, and was last seen on 14 August 2025. Rowena hasn’t been in contact with her children and her family are worried for her safety.

Police investigating her disappearance have identified her as being in Auckland, Tauranga and Christchurch in the recent months prior to her missing person report being made.
