Family Friendly Service and Discussion
Paul and Lesley Askin's next family-friendly monthly service will be held at the Ashley Community Church from 4.30 pm, Sunday, 6 February. Covid-19 requirements may have changed by then so do check with Paul (contact details in previous post). Masks are encouraged and 1 metre distancing should be observed between people who don't mingle day to day. Remember to scan or sign in and there is currently a limit of 30 people who can be inside the Church when the venue is operating without vaccine passes. This is determined by the size of the space. Check with Paul or Lesley if they don't already know you are coming.
39 Canterbury St, Ashley. Remember go before you come as there are no toilet facilities.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
