Rabbit island gone
I was driving past Frost and Anzac drive the other day and was very sad to see the bushes have all been taken out at the roundabout where there use to be a few rabbits, It was a lovely sight often catch them sunbathing or just watching the traffic go by. I even notice carrots and vegetables dropped on there occasionally its all been cleared so sad. No wonder animals die out, we take over all there space, I know there rabbits but there still a living thing. has anybody else noticed

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
