More choice for your bins?

Christchurch City Council

We’re considering changing our kerbside service to give you more choice for your bins.

You could choose bin sizes to match your household needs, meaning you’ll only pay for what you use. Having the right size bins makes it easier to put the correct items in each bin and reduce waste.

If you choose a smaller bin it will cost you less and a bigger bin will cost you more. We want to know what you think about moving to a flexible bin system.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
