Opawa Public Library 192 Richardson Terrace Big Reopening
Hi Everyone
We are having our big opening this Saturday the 29th of August with extended opening hours for the day from 10am to 4pm to the public. We would love you to come along and see our new library, we have adult books, DVD's for hire and the children's library is now in the same building.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
