2:00 PM: Odour Issues Presentation
Hugh Riley, Managing Director of Prime Environmental, will address the ongoing odour problems in Hornby. He will outline the causes, corrective actions, and long-term strategies to resolve the issue, followed by a formal Q&A session.
3:00 PM: Hornby Area Plan Update
Project Manager Nikki and Urban Designer Nic from the Christchurch City Council will provide an update on the Hornby Area Plan. This session will cover the 2026 development timeline, traffic flow management for SH1, and how residents can provide formal input on the suburb's future growth.
We will also have updates from our Treasurer, Events Manager and our Chair.
The Hornby Club is located at 17 Carmen Road. If you wish to join the GHRA, new members are welcome for a koha/donation.
