Planning an outdoor burn? Check the rules before you light up:

The Team from Environment Canterbury

๐Ÿ  Properties under 2 hectares: Can't burn outdoors. Compost, mulch or take it to a transfer station.
๐Ÿก Properties over 2 hectares: Only burn dry vegetation (less than 25% moisture content), paper and cardboard. No rubbish or inorganic material.

Got more greens than you know what to do with? ๐Ÿฅฆ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿฅ•

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Whether itโ€™s a courgette takeover or a feijoa frenzy, donโ€™t let those garden gems go to waste!

Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? ๐Ÿซ

Poll: Have we lost our "Clean & Green" edge? ๐ŸŒ

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Whatโ€™s your take? Are we doing enough to look after our backyard? Is it time for a new slogan? ๐Ÿ’ฌ
