Are parking restrictions needed near the Sign of the Kiwi?
The owner of a cafe on the top of Christchurch's Port Hills believes new parking restrictions will help boost his business.
The Banks Peninsula Community Board last week approved plans to restrict daytime parking to 60 minutes at the car park at the intersection of Summit Rd and Dyers Pass Rd.
The council also agreed to change two of the 12 parking spots, which are near the Sign of the Kiwi cafe, to a mobility park and a designated motorcycle parking spot.
Do you think the changes are a good idea?
