Oaklands School’s Yr 7s cleared out over 130kg of weeds from Halswell Domain and Westlake Reserve and planted over 250 native plants in their place.
Two separate Girl Guides groups helped plant over 250 plants between them in Cashmere Stream Esplanade Reserve and Avonhead Park.
It was a great effort and here are some photos from the day.
The portions are generous and the location is spot-on at this lovely restaurant in Kennedys Bush. Our very own Jo Gilbert gave it 3.5 stars. Have you checked it out?
