A shed brings men together in one community space to share their skills, have a laugh, and work on practical tasks individually (personal projects) or as a group (for the shed or community). If you are needing more support then the Canterbury Men's Centre may be for you. Their mission is that all Canterbury men are supported to lead fulfilling lives in their families/whānau and communities. They provide counselling and support. Check under 'Read More' for a link to their website.

How much does it cost to join AEA?
There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
