Creamy Smooth, All Natural, Fresh, Healthy, and Delicious Peanut Butter

Jeric is originally from the Philippines, where, he says, “Filipinos really love to eat peanut butter!” They usually have it on bread for breakfast. When Jeric and his family arrived in New Zealand in 2017, they couldn't find Filipino-style peanut butter in shops, so they had to get it from a fellow Filipino who was making a homemade version. When that seller stopped making it, Jeric decided to make his own! He started by selling it to friends, and it’s now available in half a dozen Asian shops and bakeries across Christchurch. Jeric also sells the sweet, Filipino-style peanut butter on Facebook, @kabayanspeanutbutter.

As part of this work, we need to rewire a couple of rooms, lay some carpets and add a small amount of plumbing. Being a community group focused on providing resources and a social environment for older men, we do not have the funds to pay for all this work, and so we will be doing much of it ourselves.

That said, help from "professionals" in the trades would be really appreciated! So if you are a retired electrician, carpet layer or plumber, and would like to help us get established, please reply to this post so that we can get in touch with you.

Thanks, Gary (the group Secretary)
