BIG policy rethink time? ... Don't ban "plastic bags" - ban plastic "plastic bags" but not cornstarch "plastic bags" ? - Practical realities.. all bags go to landfill now. Endemic to the food/shopping stream, just the tip of the packaging iceberg. Better solutions are needed at state level (like bulk energy recovery, e.g.).
