CAB service at Level 2

The Team from Citizens Advice Christchurch Area

As we enter level 2 , we will remain open but with some changes to our service for the next 3 days. Our normal JP clinic (Hornby) will not run tomorrow due to social distancing rules. Both our City and North branches will be available by phone , email and on line chat but no face to face at this time.
Our West branch will be open for face to face. We thank you all for your understanding. If Level 2 continues beyond Wednesday we will run appointment based services for our clinics. We will keep you updated.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.

WANTED - Hat Blocks & Hat Making Equipment PLEASE..

Helen from Strowan

Can anyone help.. My daughter is interested in starting to attempt to make hats as a hobby.
I was wondering if anyone might have any old wooden hat blocks (similar to the one pictured) or any old hat making tools or equipment that they no longer use and would like them to go to a good home.
Happy to pay for these.
