Come along to Chapel Street Church Hall, on the corner of Harewood Road and Chapel Street, Papanui this Friday 25th August to listen to Rodney Laredo's talk "Genevieve'.
New Zealand author Rodney Laredo on his definitive biography of Genevieve, the 1904 French Darracq car celebrated in the film title of fame which takes as its theme the annual London to Brighton rally for veteran cars.
The film’s international success made this car into the worldwide mascot of veteran motoring.
His talk starts at 10.30am.
Everyone is welcome - just sign in at the door with your name and phone number, pay $4 and enjoy. If you come at 10am you can have a tea or coffee and a biscuit first
