At present Otto is confined to Elusion's office and home but one day he is hopeful of being able to go on dump and recycle runs with Pip and Dad (Patrick). Currently he is a lot of work and has so much to learn about being a business dog...he is more interested in cuddles with the family and saving Mum some washing by chewing Dads socks at the end of the day as soon as the boots come off. He is however eagerly watching all the training videos with the family so he can learn very fast. He is also loving all the smells Dad brings home on his work clothes of the big wide world and all our clients pets Dad cant help but pat.

The historic Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Christchurch is going to be demolished.

Catholic bishop Paul Martin said the 113-year-old building was too expensive to restore and favoured demolishing the cathedral and building a new one for about $40 million on a site closer to the city centre.

He said the earthquake-damaged building on Barbadoes St would cost about $149m to fully restore, while just saving the central part of the building would cost $91m and not be fit for purpose.
