I spoke to the Ministry of Education about this early … View moreIn Avonhead area there is a huge blank area when it comes to Pre Schools, there is two Kidsfirsts which only take 3 and over and then the other Pre Schools are near Yaldhurst Road which makes it really difficult for parents with out vehicles! I spoke to the Ministry of Education about this early last year but didn’t have much of a response. Does anyone know of any preschools I’m missing out or any home based educators in these blank areas?
Any other ways we can bring this up?

>Work with Council staff to reduce weed issues that are causing flooding in the Waimairi and Wairarapa Streams

>Support the establishment of a youth recreation project in Bryndwr

>Request the installation of Big Belly bins at Fendalton Park, Abberley Park and Jellie Park and investigate recycling options for parks

>Development of community safety initiatives in the Avonhead/Russley area

>Continue to advocate on behalf of residents regarding parking issues, particularly around the business areas in Russley and Roydvale

>Reinstating the Ilam Stream and fixing the water flow issues

>Upgrade of the toilets, changing room facilities and sports storage at Nunweek Park

>Construction of a shared footpath on Gardiners Road from Wilkinsons Road to Sawyers Arms Road

>Secure full funding for the installation of traffic lights at Breens/Harewood/Gardiners Road intersection
