More shopping on the way with new Christchurch retail complex
One of Christchurch’s busiest retail suburbs is to get another complex of shops and hospitality outlets.
New shopping centre, The Railyard, will replace the Equestrian Hotel in Hornby which closed earlier this year after more than 50 years of serving patrons.
Covering almost a hectare in size the complex will comprise six buildings, with a mix of double and single storey buildings, and parking for more than 100 cars.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
