Garage sale to raise funds.
We're: 23 Fenchurch Street Northcote chch
When: Saturday the 17th November 2018
Time: 8am,
We are holding a garage sale to raise funds for a trip to auckland to meet with liver transplant teams and catch up with the kidney teams at starship for our 7 year old daughter etc so we can hopefully finally get the transplants she needs. Feel free to look up her story and what she has been though by searching on face book for: Keiras world or @ the hubballs. There will be more about the garage sale on there also.
We just ask becouse things can be hectic with our girl 8am is the start time and please be respectful no door knocking if we are not outside and ready for people thanks.
Maybe you just want to help in some way and not fill your house with more stuff, We have had a few people donate some items they no longer need for the garage sale if you or know of somebody who might be willing to pass on a item or items feel free to get in touch. We really appreciate it. All items not sold will be passed on again to a charity.
Thanks Vickie

Some Choice News!
DOC is rolling out a new tool to help figure out what to tackle first when it comes to protecting our threatened species and the things putting them at risk.
Why does this matter? As Nikki Macdonald from The Post points out, we’re a country with around 4,400 threatened species. With limited time and funding, conservation has always meant making tough calls about what gets attention first.
For the first time, DOC has put real numbers around what it would take to do everything needed to properly safeguard our unique natural environment. The new BioInvest tool shows the scale of the challenge: 310,177 actions across 28,007 sites.
Now that we can see the full picture, it brings the big question into focus: how much do we, as Kiwis, truly value protecting nature — and what are we prepared to invest to make it happen?
We hope this brings a smile!
Building job
I would like a pantry made in the gap the old hot water tank used to be. This involves a wall being taken out but it isn't load bearing.
Also a shelter outside over the bin area needs replacing.
I have tried Builders Crack and of the 3 only one turned up and I want more estimates.
Any recommendations of builders or handyman who are happy to at least have a look.
