It is free to anyone who is prepared to come and take away. It will need at least 4 strong blokes to lift it and carry across the garden to the driveway. Weight(empty) is approx 300 kgs. I am in Pines Beach. Ring 021 938 480 if you are interested. Happy Christmas everyone.

We are both older folks, we don't smoke and have no pets. We would like a long term rental, preferably a three bedroom home, but we can probably consider a two bedroom if the garage is of the larger type so that we can store our bikes and I can continue working at my small business. We want to stay in Kaiapoi as we both like it here. A garden would be welcome as Paul has a keen interest in that.
We also have excellent references. So if you know of anywhere that might be suitable please get in touch, we have wee bit of time yet but as we all know time is a fleeting thing, so if you know or have heard of something that may suit please get in touch. Thank you to all, Lynda and Paul.😄

Nearly 6000 fines worth a total of $740,250 have been dished out for driving or parking in the city's bus lanes since the end of November last year, with just one bus lane responsible for well over half of that.

The stretch between Mona Vale and Deans Ave on Riccarton Rd, which opened in late 2018, has proven a major money-maker for the Christchurch City Council, netting the authority more than $560,000 in just 12 months. A total of 3828 fines were issued to drivers caught in the lane – an average of 319 a month.

Have you copped a bus lane fine before? What for, and where?
