Photography - Starting Out with the basics

Many of our Community Education courses are underway with some due to start next week. Our photography course starts on Monday and has just a couple of places available:

Photography - Starting Out with the Basic is a fun and friendly introduction to photography working with an international award winning professional photographer. This course will give you the basic skills you need to get the most out of your DSLR camera. You will need your own camera to bring to the class. The class size is limited to 6 to make sure you get plenty of personalised help.

Tuesdays 6.45pm – 9.15pm
3 March – 7 April (6 weeks)

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
