Ara Institute of Canterbury in Christchurch has trades programmes starting February in, painting and decorating, engineering trades, electrical trades and joinery. There’s a Youth Pathway foundation course in building and construction, and the Timaru campus has programmes in painting and decorating and engineering trades.

Garage sales all along Malcolm Ave in Beckenham this Saturday (27 Nov) - starting from 9am. At least 5 households participating. Household goods, clothing, art, antiques, jewellery... Kids will be selling some baking and we'll have the BBQ out for a sausage sizzle!
